By pure luck I stumbled upon this company. We were looking for a way for our 18 year old to be able to drive a little bit with extra safety because he has epilepsy. Although he is fully functional we wanted an extra precaution while he is behind the wheel. Someone in our family is always riding with him & after speaking to a Phil and purchasing, testing & using this break we have been SO HAPPY! The break can completely and safely stop the car if needed. If your a parent who wants an extra safety net or a company supplying your drivers ed cars I can say you will be VERY HAPPY with your purchase and the service you receive from Phil! 😀
Our granddaughter was going to start private driving lessons. Our son had seen an advertisement for "Give Them a Brake". He suggested we order one. Our son installed the brake. The brake doesn't take up much space on the passenger's side. We are very satisfied knowing we have control while our granddaughter is learning to drive. It is a peace of mind knowing you have a safety brake, if needed.

A friend of mine and I just completed an install of the foot brake. The instructions were very clear and the hardware was adequate to very good. Because I had many electric, brake and other likened as well as the frame right where I wanted to install I had to make my own offsetting bracket to get a solid fit. Since each car is different I don’t know how you could design a better kit. My friend is very mechanically inclined and in my instance at least the install was a little more than the average DIY. Test drove the brake it works fantastic. I am very comfortable putting my granddaughter behind the wheel now that I can assist her with a brake if necessary.
